Evidence of ongoing relationship for K-1 interview?

Hi there! My fiancée and I just got our NOA2 for our I-129F petition. I know interviews in Montreal are running a year behind at this point, so we won't need this for a while, but we're thinking ahead to what we might need to gather for the next steps.

I've read through the forums and Montreal consulate reviews, and I can't find anyone who was actually asked to provide any relationship evidence at their K-1 interview, but it is listed as something to bring in the Packet 3 instructions. What evidence would folks recommend bringing, and how much?

For reference, we didn't front-load our petition, but we included lots of photos, tickets, receipts, etc. from visits, and pictures of our engagement rings, and we got our case approved very quickly with no RFEs. If needed I could provide all kinds of chat logs, video call screenshots, photos of cards and gifts we've exchanged, communication with family members, etc. but I don't want to give my fiancée a ton of stuff to print out that she won't need, haha. I assume whatever I give her will likely not be asked for, but what would folks recommend bringing?

You provide evidence of meetings since the I-129F was filed.  You also provide updated letters expressing an intent to marry within 90 days of POE.

First question the CO asked my then fiancée at her interview: “when was the last time you saw your  fiancé?”

answer: “This morning.  He is standing outside the embassy waiting for me. “

If Montreal is anything like London you won’t really need anything at all unless there are significant anomalies with your case.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Having just had my interview in  March, I wasn't required to show any additional evidence that wasn't in my original petition. Which is a good thing since I only had the original photos with me, and not newer photos from after the petition lol.

I feel like my officer didn't ask me much of anything though. I was only asked what I do for work, what my fiance does for work, and the address I'll be living at. The only paperwork required are original copies of your birth certificate, police certificate, the I 134 form, and statement of intent to marry from the US citizen. They will photocopy the passport page.

Everything else off that checklist is gravy. I was never asked for any of it but other situations are different.

Thanks. Borders have been closed since we last saw each other though, so I suppose I'll just put together a few pages of chat logs, video call screenshots, etc.

Thanks. Yeah, that's the impression I'm getting. I do want to give her something to bring in case they ask for it, but it's good to know that this apparently isn't something to worry about for these consulates.

Thanks, this was very helpful! It's good to hear people's recent experiences. And congratulations on your interview!
