AR-11 not filed for ALMOST three years (about to submit N-400)

So, I completed the AR-11 on my wife's iPhone in November, 2018. I called USCIS to ensure all of my papers were being filled out with consistent information and the associate I spoke to on the phone noted that he did not have my updated address. I advised him that I had filed the AR-11 a few years prior online, but I did not have a confirmation number for the form I filed. He said to just submit the AR-11 form as soon as possible, it takes up to 30 days to process, and I should be fine.

So, I will likely be waiting until they process my AR-11 form to file my N-400 form (I need to wait for paperwork from Canada anyway to be sure of some dates regarding tickets and such). I will keep you updated as to how they treat this situation. I know in my heart I filed that form online using my wife's phone, but have no proof. Hopefully they will overlook my late address change. The USCIS customer service agent seemed to believe they would and that it was not that big of a deal, as long as the form was sent ASAP after our discussion. And I did just that the following day, made sure that the mail I sent to USCIS had a tracking number and that USCIS had to sign for it. I included an explanation as to how I found out USCIS did not have my AR-11 form and why the form was filed so late.

Let me know what you all think. I will, hopefully, have no issues with my N-400 form due to this, but if I do, I'll keep you updated as to what issues I run into.

For all of you, KEEP ALL OF YOUR CONFIRMATION NUMBERS AND PROOF OF EVERYTHING YOU SEND, even if you have to just send an email to yourself with proof that you sent a form to USCIS (a screen shot or anything). This was the ONLY time I did not keep proof of a form I sent to USCIS, and it may bite me in the butt. I don't believe it will cause an issue, since them not getting the form was not my intention. We will see!

Do you still have to submit AR 11 even though you have a green card ? and you are applying to N-400 ? I am not sure if this form is really necessary cuz I am not sure that they look at it even ?

Instructions for the AR11 indicate that LPR must file this form within 10 days of a change of address. What USCIS does with this form is a different matter.

So

Yes .. you must submit it if you are an LPR

Yes .. you submit it even if you have a pending N400 application

Once you are naturalized you do not need to report AR 11 change of address anymore.

Yes. And like I said, I definitely sent it online, but they just didn't have the form on file and thought my address was my old one. Whatever. Hoping they don't really care when it comes down to it.
