Thank you so so much Jeanne, for all the illustration.well my second name is Patience,l have one question to ask dou, when the Trump government in September 2020 made the K1 a priority what stopped the lagos consulate from attending to the applicant's rather they disregarded the decree now they have excess work load.well l am waiting patiently ,l've got no choice

what stopped Lagos was EO February 2020 when   Trump added Nigeria to list of banned countries

Nigeria has been added to a list of countries whose citizens will in some way be restricted from entering the United States. According to a White House statement, Nigeria is not complying with “the established identity-management and information sharing criteria assessed by performance metrics.

Biden ended this ban when he took office in January

So not only the pandemic but the ban on Nigeria created a long back log of petitions

Hi, I understand the frustration but please cheer up as US consulate in Lagos has  finally prioritized k1 cases, currently they've scheduled and rescheduled all k1 cases currently at the embassy for April and May 2021, I was rescheduled for interview for May 2021 as well, I'm pretty sure k1 cases at the nvc will be shipped to Lagos on the next shipping date but I think they'll ship the cases in order they were approved, since yours was recently approved you might have to wait a little bit more but I'm so sure it will get to your turn soonest, all the best to you.

At MyGODisAble, honestly,  you just have to learn to be very very patient.  That is the only thing that can get you through. If not, you will be frustrated and disappointed in this kind of situation. This is my candid advice to you. Shalom. I rest my case. All the best to us all.

NB: I filled since feb 13th of 2020 and got approved by USCIS in SEPTEMBER 8 2020, NVC received it SEPTEMBER 19 or 21, till now...its still at NVC...And I'm still waiting.  So, patient and prayers is the key in this situation.  God bless and success at last.
