My fiance falls under the Schengen Ban. The NVC/CEAC status went from In Transit to Ready....

But I thought the consulates were not processing nor scheduling visa appointments?

Or is the consulate simply gonna leave it in Ready status and never schedule?

Any thoughts?

No expedite request was submitted to consulate.

It was submitted somewhere after your NOA2. So wherever you submitted it led to your case to be expedited. I assume you submitted it to NVC

You are correct, I did submit an expedite request.

However, the request was not approved nor denied. The NVC simply told me to resubmit it to the Consulate. At this point, my case is not under an expedite request.

Right, because you have to submit separate expedite requests to NVC and the consulate. NVC expedite simply involves them just sending it. Consulate, of course, has the final say on whether or not they will grant it. The fact that NVC sent it to the consulate  is already a good sign.

If that was the case, then alllll of those people stuck in NVC since March 2020 waiting before you would be way ahead of you in the line.

Huh....

Wow. Ok, I see what you're saying now.

So, basically:

If the request wouldn't have been entertained, my case should be stuck in "At NVC" status, correct? That's what most people are experiencing.

Mine stayed in ready status over a year. They are not scheduleing interviews, unless you're in the Milligan suit.

Sad to hear... I wonder when interviews will resume. I've been in "Ready" for like 3 months now. No interviews being scheduled. I did hear that Biden may ease travel restrictions in mid-May.
