How do you submit an inquiry to the local office? I guess you have to call them and use the trick "infopass"?  i don't see the option on the new system.

Thanks for the help and i checked from old system and its showing assigned office replied my inquiry and i was not able to see that reponse and i sent another inquiry to uscis.

I sent an inquiry to my local office online because my case was outside normal processing time, and I did not receive my case final decision within 120 days after the interview. Here you can find it.

I then received my SR number from them like the following message (in the old system). Then I went to the new system, in “My account,” I chose “Inbox,” and sent an email to them to ask what the response said from my SR number. Then they responded to me 1-2 weeks.

 

"On July 23, 2021, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SRXXXX, was completed."

"On July 23, 2021, we sent a response to your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SRXXXX."

 

I also sent a physical mail to the local field office to my interview officer. Her name is on the N-652. Someone told me her lawyer sent mails to her field office many times, but I sent a mail by myself because I do not have a lawyer😄.  I did not call or go infopass because I guessed my IO did not want to see me in person or maybe I could not find her. I just sent a physical mail that attached my N-652 to her.

I see... thanks for the response.  I also sent a physical mail back in August, but never got a response.  I only have the new system (doesn't let me use the old one because I never had an account), so I guess that works well for inquiries too.

That's a tough one. If it was me, I'd go along to the interview (with my spouse) if you haven't heard anything by 10/29 or received an official notice that the interview has been cancelled.

 

Hopefully both N-400 and I-751 will be approved before then though. Keep an eye on your online service for updates.

My n400 status changed to "Oath ceremony will be scheduled" today. No changes in i751 status still.

Interesting... It sounds like they have approved the I751, but maybe not updated the online status.

 

Even so, if it was me, I'd still go along to the interview to be safe, as worst case, they just send you home.

I agree. It makes sense. I will do the same if no status updates until Friday.

Hi guys I'm in the same spot ..submitted i751 April 2019 still have not got a decision..submitted n400 March 2021 got a interview for the 12 went to the interview thinking it would be a combo but officer says it's only for N400 myi751 needs to be reviewed..I passed my testing and got the letter with a decision cannot be made she said I will get a letter in the mail either oath ceremony or request to come back for an interview..I went today because I was so depressed I forgot to have asked her for a stamp today I went in for the stamp and that officer Said my case is with supervisor for review..not sure how long this will take ..any advice would be greatly appreciated t
