Just asking out of curiosity, if I check my case in the USCIS webpage, there is a text underneath my case status that says "next step: we will prepare your case for officer review". I haven't filed for N400 and I was wondering if everyone with just a pending ROC has the same "next step"

I would have checked it for you but my account got locked. I forgot my password 😕 nd password reset email is taking you to some questions, which everytime i am entering is saying wrong answer 😭😭

So sorry to hear about your situation! Yes, if he started to abuse you verbally then you need to get out because it can escalate quickly. Safety first. And yes, it is frustrating to lose the money but that's better than staying in a dead relationship.

Well, it is slow but I don't see my life affected by it. I can do pretty much the same as a USC, except for voting or take some jobs..

I agree too I dont see my life getting affected by how slow i 751 processs is .I feel like USCIS is not to blame. There are so many applications. I feel like thr life might b hard too processing all those applications. Atleast the system is efficient enough to give us almost all the rights here except to vote. I am in no rush but still i will go ahead n apply for N400 when the window will open just to get US passport and travel freely around the world without needing visas 😁😁

I just happened to check my husband's case status earlier this week and saw it was approved! We're still waiting on the mail to arrive but the case status page shows approved. EAC Filers, there is hope! He filed the ROC back in April 2021 (as you can probably guess from the title of this thread), approved late October 2022. No interview and the biometrics from his AOS were re-used. Fingers crossed for anyone else still waiting!

Been almost a year since ready to be scheduled and not a peep from them.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

We submitted my husband's N-400 Application online on October 19th. We just got word yesterday that his interview is scheduled for December 8th. I'm surprised at how fast that process went!

Then, today, we got notification today that his 1-751A was approved and a new card is being produced. No interview needed! We had a NOA date of April 2, 2021 from LIN.

Best of luck everyone! Things are moving!!
