I've been thinking about it these last few days. The thought of doing and paying for yet another application whilst not hearing anything back from my ongoing I-751 is off putting but I guess it'll be the last big thing in terms of immigration. Are you thinking of applying?

I definitely will be applying, most likely 3-5 days after the window opens. I agree about the cost and stress and yet another waiting game that comes with the N400 but like you said, it's the last step in this process. My wife and kid are already US citizens so I'm thinking why they hell not just get this over with! :D

Received today the email "we ordered your new card". Status "New Card Is Being Produced" on My USCIS.

I'm in Los Angeles, so this was the WAC service center.

As of today, it took 298 days after the ROC application was received.

As luck would have it, I become eligible for the N400 application tomorrow.

So any April fillers with pending I-751 filing n-400?

My understanding is that if you apply for citizenship while I-751 pending both applications are joined and sent to the local uscis office BUT the clock resets for another year basically

Am I correct that it’s better to wait for I-751 first?

Clock doesn’t reset for I-751.

How long does it take to schedule an interview? Been ready to schedule since December 22, 2021 (MSC).

I believe we will be eligiable to file for citizenship after March 24 as June 24 would be the 3 year GC window.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Depends on your local office. Some take way longer than others.
