Our check got cashed this week and got my letter. It says: "your greencard is extended for 18 months."

What does that mean? That they are really slow and didn't get to the real removal yet? Or will we have to file another I-751 in 18 months?

That's standard procedure. The letter goes out to all I-751 filers so their card/status is valid until the case is resolved and a real 10-yr card can be mailed. If for some reason you still don't have the 10-yr card in 18 months (also normal), you can get I-551 stamp that adds another year to the expiration.

So it looks like my wife's ROC package is being processed out of the Nebraska Service Center.  Does anyone have any input on that service center?  Like good or bad?

By the way, do they send an email to the address listed in G1145 or only text? I’m outside of the country now so I won’t be able to get a text on that number I used.

Assuming it works the same as the G-1145 for the I-130 submission, you will receive a text message as well as an email to the provided email address. We're about a week or so away from our receipt confirmation (based on recent timelines), so I'll be able to verify soon.

Hi hope you are doing well. my package delivery has the same date as yours. When did you receive the text message please? Can you show us in example?
