Major technical issue with DS-260

Hello, 

 

Has anyone experienced anything similar and maybe have some tips? The issue is that for over a month I have been trying to complete the form DS-260, however, I am unable to move forward or backward from the page that asks for social security information and is followed by the review page. Each time the page gives me and my wife an application error and signs out. I have tried several different web browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome etc, cleared browsing history, cookies and cache and with incognito mode) and computers, both desktop and laptops, with high speed optical fiber cable internet connection.

 

I have reached out to the Kentucky Consular Center numerous times, but their phone has been disconnected for several weeks now. The phone recording advises to email them, but unfortunately they have only replied by template instruction emails to the multiple messages I have sent to their email address (kccdv@state.gov).

 

Any advice is highly appreciated, thank you!

I don’t know what the issue is but I am curious when you say “me and my wife”, do you each have the same error on separate DS260s? 

 

No one at KCC seems to be answering DV inquiries at present, but as the DS260 is a form every immigrant visa applicant needs to fill in I wonder if contacting NVC for assistance might bear fruit. Not sure about that but just a suggestion.

Yes, we and my wife both get the same error message when trying to move forward. I called NVC and they could not help and deferred me back to KCC.

How strange. Have you tried britsimon’s website to see if anyone else is experiencing this?
