Hi, I am new here and have a quick question. I am filing for my mother. My wife and I file Joint taxes. My mother is the only one that's migrating. My income alone is sufficient to file for my mother. I think I might qualify to use the I-864ez but not sure if because we file joint taxes then I would need  to fill out the i-864 my and my wife fill out the i-864a.

If it is just for your mother, and you have enough income to sponsor her, then you can use I-864ez.  You will enter your income only (not combined with your wife's income) and provide your W2's along with the tax transcript.
