My wife told me last night a woman came into her cafe and asked about me and her and did she love me and where do we live ?  Could it be

the government checking up on us ? Have you heard of this

Did the woman showed her some kind of badge or identification?

Is your wife the beneficiary or the US citizen?

Because sounds more like a scam. They saw a new person, with accent and looks there is not from here and try to get more information. Did your wife share your address or something else?

I don’t think so ! And yes she is the beneficiary

So sounds more like a scam. Be careful and you can report to the local police.  If the person comes back tell your wife to ask for the person full name, any Identification and says  that she prefer to have you present and a lawyer or a police officer,  and probably this person will run away haha
