I’m wondering if the excel sheet for April counts the rejected and withdrawn cases as “other /untouched” since there are around 2500 remaining cases in that category. Does anyone know?

theres a spot for denied/rejected cases, 341

Rejected and denied have their own category/row. 

 

And yes, withdrawn, expedite denied, document sent, etc are included as "other action" (not bold, not italicized in the chart). Those that are bold and italicized are filtered to only "case was received." I don't filter those down until it is a low enough number to quickly count them in the app and avoid having to download and sort each 500 range in excel. Normally what I have seen (I also run the March chart, so I've seen it often) is that each 500 range has about 10-20 cases that get excluded as they are withdrawals, document sent, new jurisdiction, etc. Usually if a range has around 50 "other actions" remaining I check and update to the bolded "untouched" to indicate a more accurate picture of the number of cases remaining in each row as "case was received."

 

So as the numbers get lower for "other action" in more rows you'll see them change to "untouched" and the numbers from @Xiaova will be reflected more closely in the chart as far as the total number still waiting.  The chart is a nice guide, but has more of a focus on daily approvals/RFEs numbers and percentages per 500 category vs total remaining (designer bias I guess, haha).

 

**Side note: the number of withdrawals has been on the rise and I'm super interested to see how much "free" money USCIS gets from those from us 2021 filers, so I'll be going back eventually (if they ever finish processing 2021 at some distant time in the future 😒) and running ranges from 2021 filers to see how many there were in total.

Question Re. Beneficiary Address Change 

 

Hi all,

not sure if anyone can help me with this. I’m still waiting on NOA2 (NOA1 April 19th) and I’m moving house in the UK in the next few weeks. This means eventually when we get the NOA2, the letter they send would be sent to the wrong house here in England 😣 does anyone know how I or my partner (the petitioner) can get this changed? Do I need to do something or does my partner in the US need to get this changed?

Nothing will get sent to the Beneficiary until, maybe, Packet 3 after NVC. Your next correspondences will all be to the US petitioner or to the beneficiary via email. You can contact USCIS for a change of address, or contact NVC upon approval and they'll update it just fine. No worries - you're all set!

I can definitely agree with that. If they focused for just a few days they could actually complete March. I feel terrible for those with untouched cases that old.

 

The only reason I can think of why they don’t do cases in chronological order is to keep their average case processing time looking better, which seems pretty sleazy to me.

Love that they hit almost every group but haven’t touched mine (77000) in so long 😭😭😭 there’s literally only 18 untouched and I’m one of the unlucky ones, my worst fear is them leaving the 18 to be slowly picked away at 🥲

I sure hope i'm wrong. They're processing all around my group, today is my birthday and all i've asked for is a NOA2 for my gift!
