Is it good  or they can change processing time again 😭😭😭😭?

It's good that it's trending up but I won't be surprised if the processing time is changed again to be longer. I feel like 12-13 months is more accurate timeline and each month that they go slower will increase the processing time for the later months. I remember one poster referenced that they need 400+ updates each week just keep up with the backlog and the USCIS aren't even there yet.

I got the request for initial evidence. And I did respond for it. Anyone here has experiences that how many days USCIS work on my case again?

thank you ❤️

If you don’t mind me asking, what is the reason they sent you an RFE?

Better than a rejection 😊… and certainly better than no response at all 😣

Same here. We sent the documents asked for a few days back. Haven’t heard anything from them so far.
I also wanted to know if I can submit an enquiry when my NOA1 date passes in the website or wait for 60 days since date of response of RFE
Thanks in Advance!

hi, you could submit inquiry if the system will let you, but since it’s only been a few days, i would wait.

can you share with us what documents were asked in your rfe?
thanks

So, it was about intent to marry within 90 days.

We still aren’t sure why that was asked because we wrote a detailed letter on how we met and how we will get married along with boarding pass, pictures. My guess is we didn’t explicitly state “90 days” but I thought it was self implied. Turns out it’s not.
So, this time, we wrote a letter again and sent along with pictures and financial support documents.

It’s strange how a lot of people are getting RFE for various reasons.

Its also weird how inconsistent it is. Someone in the March group did their letter of intent, stating in 90 days, but they got an RFE because they did both the petitioners letter of intent and beneficiaries on the same page. Like having both signatures at the bottom

Apparently its supposed to be separate

but I was approved with them together. ive also heard of RFE's due to scanned signatures but my friend did hers scanned with no issue.

I guess it’s depends on the case officer who is looking at your case. We got unlucky.

The first time, we did digital signature. Maybe because of that? I think wet signature is always better.

It’s also frustrating how one needs to wait for the physical mail for 3-4 days to actually find out what was missing. 😕

if you didnt state within 90 days in the letter of intent thatd be why, as thats one of the requirements
