Quite a lot of updates by the end of the day since Flora last scanned around noon. Maybe the cases didn't get entered until end of the day? Hoping April will pick up more steam next week 🙏

The numbers are good but I can’t help but feel a little concerned they are going to increase the processing time to 15 months this week - people on the Facebook groups I follow have said this is going to happen. Anyone else’s mental health being severely impacted by this? I don’t know how much more I can cope tbh. How do you handle this? I feel like me and my partner have done so well and I have been doing so well up until around Feb of this year. But not I just feel at a total loss… like we will never actually be able to live together and be together. I am trying to stay positive but how can you in this situation?!? My heart is 💔💔💔. Others that are feeling the same, please feel free to message me so we can talk together and message ❤️🩹

I’m curious  does 1 expedite mean exactly? I’ve been checking this range in the case tracker daily and see no change in approval, denial.

Do you know why they think it would increase to 15 months? That would push the receipt date for inquiry back to Jan/Feb 2021 (if I understand the setup correctly) and it seems to me Jan and Feb have been done for a while, and March is almost done as well.  I am also worried about an increase in processing times, but I'm hopeful that they will stick to the 10-13 months for now and maybe keep trying to speed things up (I'm a June 2021 filer so I'm hoping!!) Our mental health has been impacted as well, it's been a difficult few months! I visited my fiance a month ago, but a short visit never feels like enough.

They still have some Jan and Feb left and around 500 of March cases left. I think mainly because they have hardly touched April and the fact that they will have a massive influx of messages soon regarding enquires, which will they force them to update the average processing time. Of course, my fingers are crossed this WONT happen but at this point, it wouldn’t surprise me 😔😔

Let’s stay hopeful that this won’t happen and they just keep the timeline as it is now. You are right to be prepared for anything though just in case! But let’s keep hope until we see what happens 😊

I feel you. I'm a September 2021 filer, and my Fiancee and I are getting mentally ready for a 15 month wait at this point. It's like we're never closer to getting a case update, we just keep getting further from getting our application looked at. Unreal.

Even at the pace theyre going they cant keep up, even if 60 a day is the new norm. They really need to turn things around and only time will show if they genuienly will keep increasing how much theyre doing

Yes, I have said that in the past, like February or so, and at that time I was kind of laughed off. Now I feel a lot of people see it as more realistic.

Also, their press release. The way it is done, the processing time will keep increasing until then, and at the time they will set up a new deadline. That type of press release is typical of organizations that have no action plan, no solution, and I feel it will stay that way. And I don't want to be the downer, but my approach is that I prefer to have information and bad news, than to be hopeful and in the dark. It will get to 2 years, and it will probably be this year.

I'm a March filer approaching a 13 month wait, and hell, at this point I just don't know. Our plans were to legally marry and then have a ceremony in Portugal. Initially we thought about the ceremony this year, and fortunately we changed it to 2023. Now, with the Visa situation, 2023 is on the way of not being realistic anymore, if we consider the advance parole, etc.

It is so bad because we planned ahead for what we thought was a significantly delay, but even that is most likely to be very insuficient.
