Thank you! I hope so! I was looking back at the earlier filer posts and freaking out a bit.

On the case tracking app, what is the best WAC number to plug in the see the most recent cases being processed?

Which app is that? My NoA-1 is April1st but changed the address a week ago which is so late. I wonder how far they are with the cases.

Case Tracker (iOS is the easiest to use it in, I think it works differently in Android)

Here is the April Chart (updated weekly on Sunday)

And here is the March chart (updated daily now that they are working on March)

How accurate are the VJ timelines. I’m a may filer (may3rd) but my estimated approval is February 17th but with how slow they’re processing March cases right now I can’t see that being too accurate? Do you think they’ll speed up a bit after the new year?

Probably everything got slowed down because of the holidays and the omicron mess. I would expect (hope) the pace to pick back up after New Years is over and omicron isn't the monster it was thought to be.

I also believe that as each month passes there will be less and less petitions filed because the 2 year window of meeting with a fiance is going to butt heads with very little international travel to many parts of the world. The world locked down nearly 2 years ago, so anyone who met someone online in the last 2 years will not have been able to meet in person and thus cannot meet the 2 year meeting in person requirement.

I have a relative that works for the government.  People take vacation and things slow down from thanksgiving to a week after new years generally.  It will pick back up again.  The slow down is normal.

He's on vacation until January 8 haha, but that's just him.  Probably a lot of people will be back Jan 3 and most people will be back by January 10.  But just to be clear his job is completely unrelated to immigration, but I'm pretty sure the government employees have similar vacation/time off/employment policies outside of the military and critical services that operate 24/7.  Some vacation time expires at year end, people visit family, because of holidays, you can add a smaller number of days off to get weeks the whole week off, kids are off school so you can travel without them missing class and someone has to be there to watch them.  It's a natural time to take time off, so a lot of people are gone.

Plus the approvals crawled slowly in December, there's no way that is going to continue.  The pace will pick back up.

Yes ! They confirmed the same day thank God 🙏

How did they confirm it? I got this after I changed the address.

Success! Address change request submitted.
Updated Address To: xxxxxxx
Your confirmation number is: CAxxxxxx
Expect a reply by: August 11, 2021
IMPORTANT: Be sure to also give your new address to the U.S. Postal Service. You can change your address at usps.com or visit your
local post office.

I didn’t receive any replies since August so I was wondering if they really have changed it already. Is this the same with yours?

We are now all eligible to put in an inquiry if you haven’t yet. USCIS is showing May 1st.

What does it show you guys when you submit an inquiry? I submitted and all it said was "USCIS will review and process the request" and gave me a request ID number. But I've seen people in the past say they received an email saying they should receive a reply to their inquiry by x day. Did I do something wrong? I submitted my inquiry on Christmas day.

I submitted mine the same day and got the same thing, no time frame mentioned. I was worried it didn’t go through, so I tried again a few days later on a weekday and it did show that there was already an inquiry recorded and told me to wait 30 days from the inquiry for a reply. So by January 25th if I haven’t gotten at least a generic email response I’ll try to submit again and also call.
