If you check your estimated date routinely you'll see it will continue to be pushed back. on friday when i checked mine the latest date was 1/4 and this morning it's 1/8. when i first submitted, it was october/november. it's definitely frustrating.

As a March filer, my approval has been as early as October 10 to as late, now, as December 16-24. I don't see how December 16-24 can be confidently said considering March has only recently begun, but the approval date has never been this close before... we'll see.

Hi Friends!

I am new to this forum but so glad to connect with people in the same boat. I am a 33 (f) waiting to bring my 34 (m) Fiancé from Tanzania to Washington, DC. on the K1. I received my NOA1 on April 5, 2021. Has anyone from April received word? Also does anyone think working with an attorney speeds things up? I self filed but was very thorough. I have submitted an inquiry, and still nothing. I am outside of the timelines on the website.

I am a Department of Homeland Security employee (not USCIS). Think I can leverage this somehow? I also have a contact (foreign service officer) at the U.S. embassy in Dar es Salaam where he will have his interview. I'm traveling to Tanzania over the holidays. You think there is anything I can do?? Willing to try ANYTHING at this point.

It’s just a matter of waiting now till u get ur noa2

then after that it’s another wait till u get ur case number from NVC and then from there it goes to the country of ur fiancé where the interview will take place. We filled in January of 2021, and it took a total of 11 months till we got to the interview date which was last week.
it takes time and patience , I don’t think anything can speed up the process it’s just a waiting game. Good luck to you guys

Our noa1 was in on march

noa2 was in September 21

out case went to nvc October 4

we received our case # around October 14

it didn’t leave nvc till the second shipment date in November. It took about a week to be in ready status by the embassy and we then were able to pick an interview date.

beirut Lebanon is our embassy

FYI April filers. They pushed inquiry dates back by half a month, so maybe that means they expect to make some advances very soon on cases (glad to see it wasn’t pushed back even further!). Meanwhile I’ll just settle in for the next 15 days before I can put in an inquiry.

I wish 6.5-8.5 months was accurate 😂. i'm honestly surprised they didn't change it to 8-10.

I should probably put this here - I just noticed that on USCIS' website, they say the time to adjudicate an I-129F for 2022 is 8.6 months, based on what the timeframe was in October 2021. This now appears to be reflected on the processing times here. I think that 9.5 months is honestly the standard time; the March NOA2s coming through are almost all exactly on that line.

I sent an inquiry as soon as our “outside normal processing time” date hit, got an automated email saying I would get a reply by December 24, I am not expecting anything but a canned answer, like we are processing, but sent anyway
