They haven’t even started on March yet so I wouldn’t get your hopes up for anytime soon :(

I'm from NOA1 on April 19th and unfortunately I don't see approval for NOA2 on April my nerves are on edge my mental health is already at the end of my anxiety I'm on the edge this lack  of humanity and incredible so many people waiting and no explanation. Treating people like nothing. This is killing me just thinking that there are people who have been waiting for 2 years and nothing is going on

I feel you :( my NOA1 is actually March 9 but I read around the other threads to see if there’s any movement and it’s just been at a complete standstill. It’s really disheartening.

You are so right about the effects of the waiting on mental health (our NOA is April 7 and we also heard nothing, which is devastating). You gotta stay strong though, for yourself and your partner cause it is so easy to let the anxiety about the case status take hold of how you think and function. I have been waking up once every night (sometimes more) and not being able to go back to sleep until I check the case status online. I didn't mean to do it, it just started this way and now it has been over a month of interrupted sleep like that. But things will be great at the end of it all, I just know it. And sometime very soon you will be reunited with your love.

Hi just checking your timeline. Is your received date April 7? I ask because it says you sent the application in March which might make you a March filer and not April. Your NOA-1 should be the date USCIS received your application not the date you received the letter.

Hi, we received the letter and the text on April 25th. When I log into the case status website it says "we received your i129f on April 7th". Yeah, we had to wait for the longest after we sent it in March.

Ahhh gotcha!! Yeah that was a long time after mailing. Well hopefully they resume normal processing soon. I saw today a couple of February cases were processed. Mostly RFE's tho.

It was better to wait for the reply longer than usual than to be that one couple whose petition gets lost in the mail. And I like April very much, it is a good month for us - that's when we started dating and our first kiss anniversary, so, it makes sense lol.

Thanks for all the updates)))

It's frustrating to know a few years ago three months wait for noa2 was the norm. I'm currently full-time military, but I was previouslly part-time military and worked for the federal government as a civilian. So I'm somewhat familiar with the workings of federal organizations. Federal jobs are heavily unionized  Labor unions are good in theory. But a lot of unionized federal workers are inefficient and look for ways to do the minimum because they know their government union will always support them unless they do something very awful like assault someone, steal something, etc. A lot of unionized federal employees say they need special allowance and work times because of covid. But those same employees don't think twice about visiting Wal-Mart, Costco, Kroger, etc after work. Leadership isn't held accountable for inefficiencies and mismanagement either. Generally speaking, the can't be fired from the government for long i-129f petition delays and they know we can't complain too much because they're the "gate keepers" to us being united with our family members. Not all USCIS employees are what I described above. But a significant number are and they're steering the ship. Leadership in the military or private business sector would be relieved from duty if they had such a long delay under their watch.

I intend to send an inquiry as soon as possible.  Do you think it helps? Does the squeaky wheel really get the grease?  I am April 5th so unless they they change processing dates I expect I can inquire sometime the first week of December

From what I've seen online, the next step after a regular inquiry would be to reach out to the CIS Ombudsman (possibly your representative before then) and their website says that you have to reach out to USCIS first and be 60 days past the received date posted before they will take the request for assistance. So in the off chance that you get to 60 days past the received date posted, it seems like it would make sense to inquire when possible and have that for evidence if you need to contact the Ombudsman to show that you have been purposefully given the run around by USCIS though you have been actively trying to find out info on your case. Just my two cents (plus I know my fiance and I would both feel infinitely better knowing that we have been doing everything humanly possible to get this part done with and be together again) .
