I'm hopeful to see 5 new cases approved in 69000 range.

But then again, I'm cautious and not have my hopes high.  USCIS is really in crashing your hopes. 😆😫

Hi everybody,

we got approved on May 25th and we still haven’t heard  anything from the NVC. (76 days)
Is anyone else experiencing the same?

any idea how long it usually takes?

Also I’m confused on how the whole process works, do they go through the case first and then send us the case number for the payments and documents and it will be done after the payments Or this is just the beginning and we’ll have to wait for another 1-2 months for the approval from NVC?

Unfortunately, I feel like they don't really go in order so you are at the whim of USCIS.

Here are the remaining stats for 72000 and 72500 groups:

72000: 4 Untouched, 151 Approvals, 10 RFESs, 14 RFERs

72500: 5 Untouched, 111 Approvals, 9 RFESs, 4 RFERs

You might want to check this thread:

It took me about 40 days to receive an email from NVC. I think it might vary depending on your consulate but not totally sure about that...

Anyone aware of how long it takes for a approved application to go to NVC and then to the foreign consulate? I was approved last Wednesday but haven’t gotten the paper in the mail yet.
Has anyone seen what the visa stamping timeframe is in the Mumbai consulate after the USCIS approval?

Hey:) we were also waiting for the response to our RFE
What we did was, we put in a request for them to look at our case again since it is well outside the normal processing time.

(I didn’t know we could do this because they told us we have to wait at least 2-3 months to hear the response to our RFE, but I asked my fiancé to keep calling them till they’ll get on it and found out we could put in a request)
ours got approved about 2 weeks after.
If you already haven’t done that, you should definitely try that.
I hope this helps and you’ll get approved soon!

People with NOA2 dates back in April are still waiting for their NVC case numbers, I am personally waiting since June. So I wouldn't have high hopes if you were just approved last week. It takes up to 6 weeks for USCIS to send the case to NVC, then another 1-2 months for processing at NVC
