470 days today since noa1.  While many April filer‘s are already approved and waiting at the NVC, a few are waiting for their interviews, and a couple are already here, we are still waiting from the effing uscis approval. Every day is a struggle, I want to get angry, but it’s not going to do anything to the our application.
I just understand why uscis is skipping or leaving few cases behind and move on to the next.  I don’t see the logic.  It’s very frustrating.

I m with you ,I m waiting 474 days ,It s bullshit , I called them many many times but nobody cares about it ,I m just speechless,

where do you get this updates and numbers because This one doesnt make sense , I m group in 72000 ,I follow APRIL chart , It was 5 untouched and 15 RFE 'R until last thursday and It  4 untouched now and still15 RFE'R , It seems not right .

The April chart what I'm aware is updated every weekend so it might be behind. You can get the updates using a scanner like Case Tracker app. You can use that to confirm if you want

The only other alternative is that our cases are just forgotten about on someone's desk, which is heartbreaking.

I am also with you (noa1 on April 27). I have been wondering if there is something specific to some cases that are left behind (for example, a background check that is taking long to complete, or something else in the application that is taking longer to verify) which is the reason why a few cases are taking longer to process. Or, some cases are from 'higher-risk' countries. I honestly have no idea, just trying to make some sense and search for some reason.

Our case is pretty straight forward.  Me and my fiancé, we're not married before, no kids.  We don't have any police record... nothing.  As per "high risk country," well, there are other applicants from the same country, who are already approved.  I guess we're just the "lucky ones" that USCIS left behind.

I really don't know why USCIS leaves a couple cases behind and move on, and I feel like they just put our case in the "circle back" folder.  It's beyond me.

This is heartbreaking. This whole process is just a business. It's not about bringing families and loved ones together. It's about money.

Hoping for miracles 🙏🏿

Thanks for the response. Our case is straightforward as well. This is all so frustrating.

hey guys, after being over two weeks on IN TRANSIT, I emailed the embassy, asking them whether they have received my case....  the next day I got an email from the embassy, stating that appointment is ready end everything was ready..... so if your case is IN TRANSIT  for awhile, you as a US citizen dont hesitate to email the embassy, and attach a copy of the letter from NVC, and let them know that you are waiting anxiously... It worked for me

Thank you for continuing to run through the cases.

I just feel depressed seeing these number.

When is the right time to reach out to the ombudsman?  And will they be of help?

My congressman and senator reached out to the USCIS but looks like they don't have the power to make them work on my case.
