APRIL 2021 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY

Hi! Does anyone know if the 2021 DHL shipping dates for case to consulate mirror the 2020 Visa Journey K1 Tips & Tricks guide?

Example, this month the 2020 guide states the DHL ship dates for May are the 12 & 26th. 
Would it be the same for 2021?

Hello there! Our case left NVC yesterday, May 11th, for Dublin embassy!

We got the case number 🥳 Hopefully, the case will leave for the embassy on 05/25. As far as I understand, it is the next date when they mail the cases.

Got our interview date for June 22nd!

 

We're going to try and get it postponed by a month to give us a little more time, but still super exciting!

Case has reached across the ocean and landed in Sydney

Consulate received at 1300 and sent an email shortly after to start prepping.

 

The e-mail states “You’re fiancée will need to create a profile via USTravelDocs. Please then reply to this email providing the following information:
Name

Case number

DS160 app number

MRV fee receipt (paid by your USTravelDocs account)”

 

Am I filling this out on behalf of my fiancé? Because I don’t have the USTravelDocs account…

You can create an account on behalf of your fiancée. Just save the user name and password. It's pretty easy. It the only way to schedule your interview on you filled out your DS 160 and paid the visa processing fee (MRV).

Thanks, yeah he was able to do it awhile back the wording was just odd in the email. We are all good to go! Looking forward so much to an update.

Congrats for the interview, We really appreciate you posting these updates, since we are a bit behind and it gives us peace of mind at the pace things are moving at!

Interview has been set for July. We are hoping for something sooner...gonig to explore threads to see what others have done.

No problem! I'm surprised at how fast things are going now.

 

We scheduled the medical exam for June 15th in Lisbon.  We're still waiting to hear back from the embassy about rescheduling the interview. Hoping we can get something in July, as traveling all the way to Paris on a month's notice would be a bit difficult.

We are in the same boat. Interview scheduled for July 19 in Sydney. If you find out about how to get an earlier date please post it here.
