Gather Documents Required for the Interview?

So my spouse finally got interview date letter from NVC, the time is really short, 2 weeks. It says in link to (see below) gather all required documents required for interview but there is no list on website for step 10. What does all civil documents mean? I would have to mail everything to spouse since I have some of the originals,  obviously the pandemic made it so I couldn't travel there to give to her because of their bans on foreigners. Is it just everything I uploaded to NVC website? I thought so but then it said DO NOT need to bring affidavit of support or financial evidence so I got confused. Thank you to anyone that could help or link to a clear list. I swore there was a list on these forums pinned somewhere, now I can't find it. (F2A category, spouse of LPR, spouse coming to America). Thank you.

3. Gather Documents Required for the Interview

Every visa applicant, no matter their age, must bring certain documents to the interview, including photographs, and the original or certified copy version of all civil documents submitted to NVC. You do not need to bring your Affidavit of Support or financial evidence you submitted to NVC.

What happens if you forget to bring something on this list? The consular officer will not be able to complete the processing of your visa. You will have to gather the missing items and provide them to the embassy or consulate, and may have to come for additional interviews. Failure to bring all items on the above list can delay visa issuance.

Best to fill out your timeline, as answer might get embassy-specific replies

Right, I had it posted somewhere on my OG account before that got lost and couldn't recover it since it was attached to a dead email, I'll look and try flesh it out. Basic info is  2018 priority date, GUZ China is the place where interview will take place.  Think I found a precheck list for that and doesn't even mention bringing OG green card.

Short version of question: I am in the USA,  do I need to mail my spouse in China all originals uploaded to NVC like my green card, my passport my joint sponser's birth certificate and American citizenship papers for proof? Unclear.

LONG version:

So refresher, I am in USA, Spouse in China. This is my timeline below.

I have to dig up so many papers to fill out my timeline when I checked on this website, very detailed time line which will take me some time but,

Basic timeline from memory.

Priority date feb 2018. F2A category, China.

i130 approved like summer 2019

Paid fees to NVC nov 2019

Uploaded everything to NVC by December.

DQ from NVC Jan and now waiting for interview appointment.

Covid/TRUMP BAN Delay all of 2020

Trump ban lifted Feb 2021, got email they starting again late feb.

Spouse got email for interview at GUANGZHOU, PEOPLE'SREPUBLIC OF CHINA for mid April,  on March 29th. Only a few weeks!!

Now the "Bring to interview precheck list" is specific when you click Guangzhou, says spouse would only need a copy of my green card. But most places on the website before I click the consulate place spouse is to interview at, says BRING ALL ORIGINALS aka everything you uploaded to NVC website.

Now this seems stressful because if I did mail my spouse(from usa to China) originals like my actual green card and a joint sponser's citizenship letter and my original birth certificates and passports, 1. Questionable if it gets there in time and 2. Those are sensitive items and if they get lost, that's a huge problem and delay.  Again, the precheck list for GUANGZHOU only states copies of this for petitioner, and only my spouse original stuff but confusing when I see stuff everywhere saying ALL originals for everything uploaded to NVC. Thank you very much to anyone with experience with this.

I do not have a lawyer but I did call my old one and he only could answer one question for free on short notice and that is "DO NOT" send my green card. Thanks.

Best wishes to everyone struggling together. Very thankful for this website, helped me a lot since i130.

Do not send your green card!  By law, you must always have your green card with you.  You would be breaking the law by mailing yours overseas.

The published checklist for Guangzhou says: "A photocopy of the U.S. passport, birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or lawful permanent resident card are all acceptable to prove your U.S. petitioner's status." -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/GUZ-Guangzhou.html#pre_interview_checklist

Oh wow, thanks a lot, didn't realize that was against the law. Good to know, mind more at rest now.

No idea why but the Register for Courier Service part is confusing. Not to mentioned every time you check it, it locks you out for 72 hours, HUGE stress.  Spouse already has an interview appointment,  when she registered  doing these (see below) following steps, she got a confirmation page and a UID barcode number. Now I didn't think anything of it but other people near her doing similar things says that their code matches their DS260 confirmation page barcode......My spouse code does NOT match the DS260 barcode? Is it supposed to? She didn't see anything that suggests you use any DS260 info to fill in, just followed the directions below.

Did she accidentally set it up wrong and clicked new interview date? I don't think so....She is literally trying to get a lawyer but no luck yet and don't think she can get one in time for interview in 2 weeks. Thanks.
