stuck "at NVC" Ciudad Juarez consolate backlog?

Anyone else stuck "at NVC"?

My fiance is from Mexico and we've been "at NVC" for about 3 months now.  Going through the Ciudad Juarez consulate.

Trying to understand if this is normal, or is it worthwhile to get a lawyer for some reason?

Anyone have any inside information about the backlog?

Hi. Our petition/case was sent to the NVC April 1st 2020 and left NVC April 15 2020. We got called for an interview March 8 2021 for an interview March 24 in Mexico City.

Been stuck at NVC for 14 months, I don't think I have seen many K1 interviews lately but there have been some yes includying @In4theJourney 's  

You should join the facebook groups there is far more info over there on the juarez situation than here.

There is nothing a lawyer can do about the backlog.

you should check the regional forum, there's already discussion on this there, be prepared for a long wait, was that way even before covid

Agree, there is even specific k1 Latinoamérica groups and even whatsapp group to give you a better picture. Visa journey is great for how to successfully get your visa process, join some facebook groups as well and you’re on your way to know what’s going on.
