Recently become US citizen, updated I130...

Hi all,

Id like to ask if anyone here has the same my case. I filed I130 for my wife when i was resident, now i am american and updated I130 (of course I130 been approved and has a case number). Does anyone know how long it will take for my wife to get a visa to come here (because i want to go back there and visit her this Xmas )? Should i try other way like K3 visa? Another one, how long do they send stuff for me to fill out, like finiancial support or stuff like that? If anyone knows please advise.

Hi. We're on the same boat. Have you sent an upgrade letter to the NVC? We sent it last week of May, and my case was upgraded on June 21. My hubby already received the DS-3032 form and AOS Bill last June 27. You have to check the NVC from time to time so that you will know your case status.

Thanks, Yep I updated and just got a letter from NVC and it said my case been updated. You received the DS-3032 form and AOS Bill real fast huh?

Also, I wonder when my case has been updated, what else should i expect to get from NVC? Anyone know long my wife can have a visa? Thanks alot for any reply.
