Two quick questions, I've read the guides and seen the example forms and am still not sure.

Can my fiance put on his 156 that I , his fiancee, will be paying for his trip?

If we have a co-sponsor, my mom and/or stepdad, what do they write for their "relation to applicant"?

Thanks

Yoly

Yoly, let me answer only the one related with the payment.

You can put the name of your fiancee there and there is no problem. I put down Steve (my fiance's name) or me, and i did not have any trouble.

Sorry i can not help you with the co-sponsor question.

As per the question of "co-sponsorship" and what to write for "relation to applicant"....

Well, first of all with the K-1 visa there is no need (nor space in the I-134) for "co-sponsors", or more than one sponsor. So if you do not meet the required minimum but your mother or stepfather does then just have them fill out the form and provide evidence. I didn´t meet the minimum so I had my mother sponsor my fiance.

Have your mother or step-father just write in fiance´s mother or fiance´s step-father. This is what we did and we had our successful interview last Friday... and we´re waiting for my fiance´s passport with new visa to show up in the mail now.

Good luck to you.

For the affidavit of support, each sponsor will fill out their own I-134. So your fiance will fill out his, and his parents will fill out theirs (they being married it will be one for both, if they have joint assets).

Your fiance will put "fiance" in relations, and his parents will put down "None".
