Filed I-90 instead of I-751, now have a question regarding employment?

Hey guys! My situation is that back in August I filed for a green card replacement and didn't know to file form I-751. I had my biometrics appointment March 9th, and a few days ago I got a denial letter for my green card replacement however, I do have a paper stating my green card was extended an extra year (expired Dec 25/2020) with that notice attached. Now I have sent in my new package and am hoping the rest of the I-751 goes smoothly (I included my reasoning for it being late)

I'm currently employed but looking to move jobs in the next month or so. I have had an interview and they're interested in hiring me but I'm obviously going to have to have a background check done. Now, when I check my e-verify it states that I am okay in terms of status to be able to work. Does anyone know if there will be any issues during the background check? I am nervous that because I'm transitioning between the I-90 and the I-751 there could be a problem with that? But, perhaps not as I have the notice stating my residency is still extended a year.

If anyone has any ideas that would be amazing! I sent in a question to USCIS but I haven't heard back yet. Thanks guys, have a wonderful weekend!

For employer to verify your employment, unexpired driver license (list B) + unconditional ss card (list C) suffice. Your status doesn't expire, your card does. Please see below link for i-9 required documents:

Sometimes employers may not know and they may directly ask for green card, but you should educate them and tell them these 2 documents will be enough for them to verify your employment. I am not sure about background check though, maybe another member can chime in, but once uscis receive your case and send NOA, you should be fine.
