Hello!

My fiancé and I are preparing I-29F and it's almost done.

We will do double check this weekends.

I'm wondering when we, actually HE ( American citizen) should send money?

What timing did you send money?

and how long did you take to get the payment certification ?

Thank you!

The USC would include a check/money order or the G1450 form with credit card information with the I129F submission package.  As to when the USC will see proof of payment, anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

Good Luck.

Have him double check the unofficial checklist on USCIS.  The process should not have changed because normally you attach the check or money order in the amount needed (FYI for money orders, or at least Western Union ones, they are limited to $500 so you will send two attached to the front of the application.  I did mine before the text notication paperwork.

Receiving the receipt has been taking at least a couple months, but they backdated it to when they actually received the receipt.

I think the limit has been raised to $1,000

YMMV

You send it with the petition.   You need to print out and follow the optional I-129F instructions on the USCIS website.
