the author merely sees what he wants to see

Did he see inaccurately, though?  Nothing that he said was made up.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

If Trump had run as a Democrat, which he could have, you would be criticizing him just like you do Biden. You just can't admit it.

My Biden insults must be wearing on you, so much that you've forgotten about policy positions I've taken here, all of which lean conservative, It's all about ideology with me, 100%,  I know who Trump is and so do 75 million other voters, fact is we just don't care, because it's irrelevant.

It's only relevant to Liberals, Liberals who still suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, I'm willing to bet the country moves past Covid19 long before Liberals move past Trump.

I bet some did but what I am saying is that he is clearly suffering some sort of decline. It is pretty disingenuous for people to keep trying to say that "he has a speech impediment and this is the result of it"

I agree that Biden is struggling cognitively, sadly, nobody knows about Biden's true mental state but the people in his inner circle, it's all being kept secret, like everything else.. As for the speech impediment, he could be suffering from both,  To be clear, I don't like Biden personally or politically, the man has no integrity whatsoever and I would be the last guy here to make excuses for him, As a life long stutterer myself, I can see what most of you cant, At times, Biden will avoid a word to avoid a block, or use a substitute word that he knows he wont block on, I saw one clear instance of word avoidance during the press conference, he didn't forget the words, he saw them coming and avoided saying them... If Biden were to have a severe block on live national TV,  think of the ridicule he would face, not just here but all around the world, it would be embarrassing, Lester Hayes of the Raiders had one in 1981, interesting, Lester wasn't ridiculed by the public or press, he was star wide receiver, why would they, but in politics, it's much different.

Not really. As I've said several times, I'm not a fan of Biden and never have been. Seems like a nice person, I don't expect he will be a great president, but perhaps mediocre at best, and like I said, he needs to rely on advisers to accomplish that. I don't see the country going down the toilet. I don't see puppet strings. I do see the derangement syndrome though, and it's not coming from liberals ATM.

As for the Trump fanboys, we've been over that for 4 years. That also shows in peoples posts. Ideology is one thing. Attributing that ideological success to Trump is another. It didn't happen. Trump is not a good person, nor was he a good president. Trump also could have been a mediocre president if he just had the ability to surround himself with good people and listen to their advice. He did say he was going to do that, but I don't think his ego could ever have allowed that to happen. That's a big part of why he failed.

Liberals and Democrats very rarely attribute success of a conservative President, they had a real hard time doing it under Reagan, their simply intellectually dishonest people, giving any praise of success to an ideology that's opposite of theirs is not something they do.

Republicans very rarely attribute success of a Democrat president either. That's neither here nor there. The point remains, Trump did not do a good job. Not by any measure. There is no success to attribute. Biden is unlikely to succeed as well. The difference is most liberals seem to be able to acknowledge that, and most Republicans can acknowledge that Trump was not a success. However there are still a lot of fanboys who haven't been able to do the same about Trump.

I let it slide. I thought at least they weren't rounding to the nearest billion this time, so we could just go with it.

LOL, thanks for quoting my retracted snideness!!!

Oops! I'm sorry. I got so excited and had to post after I did the rounding and realized Biden still won by 100 million votes.

Secretly AOC won by like a billion votes and they are just waiting until Old Joe sundowns too much one day so she can be installed. I think I read this on some rando's substack blog.

To the tens of millions who lost their food stamp benefits because they re-joined the labor force, To the poorly managed states that had their funding cut, Bringing our troops home from overseas, Preventing illegals from crossing our borders, Adding 3 Conservative Justices to the US Supreme Court and cutting the corporate Tax rate from 35% to 21% just to name some, from a Liberal perspective you're 100% correct, Trump did NOT do a good job!

If his premise and conclusion is inaccurate, is it made up?
