👏

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

I want to share my experience.... I hope it'll help someone.

I applied on February 6th of this year ( I got bored one Saturday morning then I decided to apply for citizenship lol).

It went very very very very quick from the moment I submitted my application ( I applied online).

5 days later received a receipt letter etc... And a week after submitting the application I received my interview letter ( I was like woowww that was fast.

Today was my interview, I applied under the 5 years rule. Since I was divorced I was expecting question about all that, but NO!

IO only asked me for my marital status I responded divorced. We went through the 6 questions for the test. Did my writing test and ready.... Asked yes and no questions and approved me 😳... The whole thing took 15 minutes tops.

Then he directed me to another room where they asked me to take the oath and they gave me my CERTIFICATION ( I was like 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳 lol)

The whole thing took less than 30 minutes.

The IO ONLY asked to see my green card.

I honestly thought the entire process would take at least 6 months to a year. But seems like I was wrong.

I hope this will help someone in the Raleigh area.

Thanks VJ my journey has come to an end. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Congrats

Congratulations ! Wow that was fast.

I live Indiana, and cases here get done pretty quick too. Not as fast yours, but usually quick.

Our case (My wife is applying for Naturalization through spouse - me)

1. Dec 1 case received (applied online)

2. Mar 22  Biometrics Letter (No Need to Come, Will Reuse Old Biometrics)

3. Mar 25 Letter for Interview

4. Interview scheduled for 2nd Week of April (Indianapolis Office)

What did they you ask for the writing part? Is it random or from 100 Questions?

My wife has studied the 100 questions and  N-400 Form, but she is stressing about the writing part. Thanks.

The IO asked me to write " Washington was our first president"

I don't think there is anything to be worried about. Good luck to your wife
