They are wanting you to have medical done 2 weeks before interview

They might be saying that.   Reality is that results are TYPICALLY available within 2 business days

YMMV

SLEC called me 7 calendar days after my medical clearance to tell me they were transmitting my results right at that moment but had to ask for my USC husband's updated phone number in the US (he didn't get a US phone immediately after returning to the US, but SLEC wanted his US phone number as he is in the US. 🙄). Not saying 7 days is the standard but that's my experience.

We had our interview on Medical on Tuesday and interview on Thursday. No issues. Due to to the Covid situation her entire medical was done in 1 day instead of the typical 2 days.

I have seen to have at least 2 days between medical and interview but everyone's experience will be different.

When was that?  I have seen stories where SLEC takes over 2 weeks since you dont hand carry the medical reports anymore.  I've seen dozens of complaints that SLEC was slow to send the files.  I miss the old days.  We did medical on Monday and Tuesday and hand carried the paperwork to the interview on Thursday.

In addition to AlaMike's experience, I saw a Youtuber who said she got her results the same day and hand carried them, this was for a 2021 K-1 interview.

When you book your appointment at SLEC they ask for your K-1 interview date, so I would be surprised if they were confirming appointments if there is a risk the results are not ready in time.

My fiance's SLEC appointment is tomorrow (4/21), so I'll update on what our experience was.

I was in mid November of 2020 during a lull in the pandemic. I was worried because the interview and medical were in the same week but we had no issues.

I would think that emailing and not having to print and issue paperwork would be faster.... but we are talking about the Philippines.
