OMG! That's unbelievable, can't believe they kept your passport for 2 years! 😲 Anyway, congratulation and you have finally received your immigrant visa.

I wish your Mandamus success and soon visa in your hands. It's all patience game. Keep faith and think positive everything will be fine.

I filed a Writ of Mandamus as well. They are really knowledgeable. You dont have to live in state they practice in. The Mandamus is filed in federal court. The lawyers do all communication via phone, email and video chat.

They answered all my questions right away. I got phone appointment with attorney right away to discuss filing. Once I signed contract and sent them the paperwork they filed writ of mandamus within a few days. They assigned a paralegal and she responds to my questions same day. They have ppl in office that speak several different languages.
Once the case is filed and the judge gives the order, then they tell you the date the Embassy has to make a decision or file for extension. I have a month left. The Embassy asked for passport and said “processing completed” after about 2.5 weeks. So it did make them look at case again. Just waiting for the final review.

Jim Hacking has a u tube channel. He has a lot of helpful videos.
