Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. My fiancé and I are preparing for our interview in just a couple of weeks and I am filling out the I-134 form. I have a couple of questions:

Regarding Part 2 "Information about the Beneficiary"

Beneficiary's Children: My fiancé has a son who will be staying with his mother in Venezuela. We intend for him to come and visit us in the future but for our K1 visa, I will not be sponsoring him. I did include him on the I-129F and noted that he would not be traveling with my fiancé. My question is, do I list the child on the I-134? Or leave it blank since he is not traveling with my fiancé?

Regarding Part 3 "Income and Asset Information"

Part 3, page 3, number 4 asks for "Balance of all my savings and checking accounts in United States-based financial institutions"

I have two checking accounts and one savings account. I can certainly add up the total of all three, but obviously this number is ever changing as money comes and goes. Currently I have the total for my three accounts listed at the time I am filling out the form. Will it be any issue if my bank statements do not match exactly?

I realize this may be a silly question, because of course we are all spending and making money, so perhaps I am overthinking it. Just want to be sure I don't mess anything up or cause confusion at the interview. BTW...I make well over the poverty guidelines, in case that matters for this question.

Thank you!

For this, think of it as when the IRS asks for the same thing.  By the time you files your taxes, it changes.  They just want to make sure you are not falsifying information.

Take a deep breath, release slowly, and write down your current bank account ledger.  And best wishes on the preparation and interview!

Thanks, I figured I was probably overthinking that 😅

Hello!

I’m curious to ask you. When was your case approved? Mine was approved last year around April but it’s still at the NVC according to the status, which means it has not been sent to the embassy in Bogota yet.

Thanks!

Our NOA2 was March 30th 2020 😊 our case was expedited, otherwise we would also still be waiting. I am hopeful March/April NOA2s will start hearing something soon!

Hello,

First Congrats!!  Second...How was your case expedited and why?  Thanks!

Hello :)

without giving out too much personal info, I can say that our case was expedited due to medical reasons and the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela. I was able to receive help from one of my state representatives in getting it pushed through

Good morning.

Thank you for your reply.  I am asking because we could also have a possible reason for an expedited interview.  As you, we do not want to expose that reason on an pen forum like this.  Would/could you be available by another format to discuss these possible options?

Thank you

Hola:)

sin dar demasiada información personal, puedo decir que nuestro caso fue acelerado debido a razones médicas y la crisis humanitaria en Venezuela. Pude recibir ayuda de uno de mis representantes estatales para que se aprobara

Hello Congratulations! Could you tell me if before they expedited your case, you were still at NVC? Have you gone to the Bogota embassy thanks to your acceleration or were you already in the embassy before? I'm going to apply for an expedited case for health reasons, that's why I'm asking you.

Hello 😊 my case was at the NVC until the expedite was approved. I have kept my timeline up to date on my profile if you would like to take a look. Good luck 💕💕
