I-130 & I-485 combining accounts?

I get that officially, I am filing the 130 for her and she's the one filing the 485 but the reality is that we are both filing both.  When I got the 130 receipt I set up an account to access it but when I got the 485 receipt I couldn't add it to my account and had to set her up with one using her email for that.  So now I have to log in twice to check for any action which is a PITA.  I have a filter on her gmail so if she gets something from USCIS it kicks over to my gmail so I don't have to ask her what the 2step code is but it's still annoying.  Is there any way to bring the 2 accounts together or add one case to the other account?  Is there maybe some form she can sign so they will talk to me about the 485 at least?

They really would rather you use the online system rather than calling or chatting but this makes it a pain.

No, because like you said, the name in the account must match the name of the applicant in the form. You're only the applicant for the 130. Your spouse is the applicant for the 485.

Unless your spouse gave you a power of attorney, you shouldn't even be allowed to check her case status. If you give them a call for example and try to inquire about your spouse's case, they won't tell you anything because you're not the applicant.

You could use though the old website to check the status, since it doesn't require logging in. Or any of the case tracker apps.

That is different than my experience.

I mostly used the eGOV website to check status. Once you create an account, you can add ANY receipt number to your account.

If you login on eGOV, you will see the history of status updates. If you don't login, you will only see the most recent update.

I filed my I-130 online, through myUSCIS. That website lets you download notices for the I-130 (for us, the initial receipt and the final approval notice are available as PDF downloads), if you filed online. I was able to also add my wife's paper-filed I-485, I-131, and I-765 to my account. I could view status updates, but could not download receipt notices for any of the paper-filed cases.

Note that there are not online status when biometrics are scheduled.

That's not the case for IOE case numbers. The name on the account must match the name on the form, so OP probably received an IOE case number for his wife aos.

You can discuss the i485 with the USCIS but the applicant must be present during the phone call and must talk to the agent and give express permission

YMMV
