How long does it take after submitting RFE?

We filed the AoS paperwork in September 2020, received RFE in late December 2020, and submitted that in early March 2021. 

 

The RFE was for I-944 so obviously that would not be looked at anymore, correct?

 

Any folks who received the RFE and got biometrics/interviews, how long did it take post submitting the RFE?

Similar situation: Filed in Aug 2020 with no I-944 and got an RFE for it on 10/30/2020. Submitted our I-944 on 1/25/2021 because we didn't want to further delay our case while waiting for the I-944 to be waived (which was expected but not certain at the time). Got biometrics notice like the day after and did biometrics on 2/09. No updates since other than "fingerprints were applied" and our I-485 now showing ready for interview.

Hello! How did you get the biometrics notice the day after? Did they received and open your RFE that quick?

 

It's been three weeks since we sent our RFE and we have no update yet, unfortunately.
