On page 1 part 1 at the end after 1F it says “NOTE: If your filling this form as a sponsor, you must include proof of your U.S. Citizenship, U.S. national status, or lawful resident permanent resident status.”

There are no instructions on this and in the document center it doesn’t ask for any documentation on this. USCIS has this. I am a born American U.S. Citizen. Do I ignore this?

You need to include your birth certificate or passport copy as proof..it says clearly. You are sponsoring her/him....

Surely you mean the I-864 and not the DS-260.

That aside, I just checked CEAC and noticed that I didn't upload any additional proof of U.S. Citizenship with the Affidavit of Support. Despite that, everything was accepted and marked as Documentarily Qualified. I did submit both my passport and birth certificate as evidence with the initial I-130 petition.

"Proof of U.S. Citizenship" is one of the document categories in the dropdown menu when you add a document to the AOS section in CEAC, so if you want to be on the safe side, upload it.

Yes you are right. I wrote the wrong form. And yes I uploaded it all with the I-130. I now see this dropdown menu. Thanks.

"As sponsor" can seem misleading.  "As Petitioner" no additional evidence of citizenship or LPR status is needed.  Only for every other "sponsor" that is not the petitioner.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
