Hello, I have received Request for Evidence (in February 2021) for form I-944 which I just found out has been DISCONTINUED (https://www.uscis.gov/i-944). I was supposed to submit this form until May 2021 so now I am confused. Should I just ignore the RFE since it was discontinued???

Thank you!!!

We submitted the following as a response to the RFE: a printout of the USCIS web page where they instruct people not to submit the I-944 anymore, a copy of the original RFE letter they sent, and a note saying that due to the change in rules as listed on the USCIS website we do not have to submit I-944 anymore.

Perfect thank you so much! :)

I would contact them about it because even though the 944 was discontinued, your case might be stuck in RFE status.  I would hope they would fix those but who knows?  It's good excuse to get them to look at your case though.

"If you received a Request for Evidence (RFE) or Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) requesting information that is solely required by the Public Charge Final Rule, including but not limited to Form I-944, and your response is due on or after March 9, 2021, you need not provide the information solely required by the Public Charge Final Rule." from the USCIS I-944 page. I'd include that quote in your response.
