When I login on CEAC to check information on our case which is now at the American Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, it says your search has returned multiple results. please select the case number to display the status. The case number is the same but there is a one and a two. I only filed for my fiancé. We have a son together but he is an American citizen. Although at the time of filing he did not yet have his CRBA, just an Ethiopian birth certificate. Is that why? I never filed for my son. He is now an American citizen and has an American passport through me which were both obtained at the embassy in Ethiopia.

If your son is listed in your K1 application as a derivative and you did not update USCIS or NVC, then yes.  One is for your fiance, the other is for your son.
