I filed my k1 visa petition back in March 2020. All been approved and sent to Ho Chi Minh US consulate trying to schedule interview. However I’m learning just now how strict the consulate here is compared to other countries

I went to meet my fiancé proposed and did engagement ceremony all on my first and only trip provided documents and photos required.  all that was required based on eligibility to file K1 visa compared to having long engagement relationship and at least 2 or 3 trips prior to filing that the officer in Ho Chi Minh may look for

do I still have chance to see my fiancé get approved for her visa?   I am excited and anxious and tired at the same time hoping for my fiancé to arrive

I am in the same situation. We are waiting on the interview now. Have you had any updates yet on your situation?

My Fiance received the R-2A Notice blue letter.. they want some more documents

from my end they want my

1)ex wife address and landline phone number and proof of address

2) Credit card statement for plane ticket for my travel to Vietnam

3) Timeline of our relationship how we met etc

4) Family Tree

5) statement of my Physical Address and email

i dont know why they want my ex wife's address and proof of address I can't provide the proof of address as i'm no longer speaking to her nor do i want to contact her so i just said in my statement that i can't provide proof of address as we are no longer in contact

Family tree.. i came to USA at such a young age i dont know my grandparents name and my father is deceased and i dont know his siblins nor do i know my mothers siblings

MY Fiance is providing me the timeline.. which she is going very deep like how i came to know about knowing Vietnam for travels and why i feel sad and etc.. leading into the story of my travel to vietnam and meeting lol

she says this is the VIetnam way as many others did it in this format.. which i'm just saying.. they dont care about why i went and how i felt before going to vietnam they just want detailed chronology how and when we first met

lol.. and we actually fought about this.. so she's trying to get her timeline for me translated and send it over then i'll read it and put it into my words.. lol
