So I have a kid with my fiance, and I'm almost ready to file for the i-129f, but I have a concern about my natural born son. I signed off and he has my last name and a birth certificate in the US, but I unfortunately didn't get him that US citizenship. I'm no longer in the Philippines, I'm in the US working my software engineering job, so I can't up and leave to do this in the Philippines. What's the best path forward?

And another kind of unrelated question...theres some extra sections at the end of the form, and each block asks for a page number, part number and item number. Item number seems tricky for areas like the address history, because it goes from 13-20, and the next section already starts at 21. residences on page 4 however, ends at 51, and the next part starts so I can logically put 52..x for those items in the additional section. Should I just leave item number blank in these cases?

He has a US birth certificate?

This really makes no sense.

I have a US citizenship just to be perfectly clear, so by extension my son should have one as well. I haven't lived in the US that long (definitely not longer than a year), but my dad and grandparents have, so my son should fulfill the criteria that makes him eligible to be a US citizenship. Unfortunately I didn't apply for this and I am no longer in his presence as I moved to the US to pursue a job. I want to apply to i-129F but I'm not sure what the best path forward is considering my son should be a US citizen and recognized as my natural son, but I kind of neglected to inform the US embassy while I was in the Philippines

Do you have a fiancée?  Otherwise what is the purpose of the i129f?

YMMV

I am referring to the Part 8. Additional Information in the i-129F. For each space you can enter information that needs to be added, one also supplies a page number, a part number and an item number. Item numbers clearly apply to the numbers like 20 a., etc to the side of each question/input field. For sections like Your Address History in the i-129F, the item number ends at 12 b. on page 2, and goes to Your Employment History on the right side of the page which goes from 13 - 16 b. If I wanted to add more information for Your Address History I would have to enter the page number, the part number and the item number. What would the item number be considering there's no whole number between Your Address History(12) leaves off and where Your Employment History(13) continues. I hope that's clear enough :)

Yes I state there that she's my fiance, we have a kid together, I'm a US citizen, I want them to be in the US, my son doesn't have US citizenship like he should due to my negligence while I was in the Philippines. I'm in the US now thinking about applying to i129f.

What do you mean he has a “birth certificate in the US”?

Where was he born? When was he born?

Your repeated statement that you failed to get your son US citizenship doesn’t mesh with US nationality law.  The child was either born a US citizen or was not born a US citizen.

Sorry that was an unfortunate typo, thanks for letting me know. I meant birth certificate in the Philippines. I have a US citizenship but I didn't get him one while I was in the Philippines.

You don’t get to get your child US citizenship.

At most you can impose proof of US citizenship.

Let’s see if the child is a citizen of the USA

When was the child born?

He most likely doesn't qualify for a k2.  You would most likely file an i130 to bring him as a child of a US citizen

What does this mean if I also want his mother who is not a US citizen to also come to the US? So i-129F was my logical choice for the mother(fiance) but unsure what combination of documents to submit that makes the most sense.

When was the child born?

The child was born September 16, 2020. If he's automatically a US citizen, how do we realize this and make it official in the eyes of the United States government? I haven't submitted any documents for this.
