They usually issue visas in 3 weeks

Case is stucked again for sure

Pray for us!! I am. Kinda hopeless now

It's gonna be 2 months on 8th may

First do not be hopeless. We all should understand U.S. embassy Islamabad is not operating as normal. With a backlog of cases for more than a year, delays are expected. Rather we should be grateful that the cases are being updated, which means they are being actively processed. Patience is the key.

I remember filling out visit visa forms for one of my cousin's in Sep 2020 and getting an interview appointment for Jan 20th, 2020. Which was later cancelled and rescheduled for Sep 2021.

Let pray and keep our spirits high. I wish everyone a speedy resolve.

An update:

Received email against my inquiry submitted through U.S. embassy Islamabad portal.

Case Updated on CEAC May 6 from Apr 22.

Now they need updated I-864 and supporting tax documents.

In an ideal situation they should have asked these in March 19th email, at that time they only asked passport and photos.

This is super shady.  They only seem to indicate what they need after an enquiry.  Hopefully, this end quickly for you.

No update since yesterday.  Our status is still AP with last update date of 5-May.
