No idea at all. That IS what worries me the most.

There has been absolutely no conversation with the Embassy regarding the one applicant that stays Refused on CEAC.

I do mail them everyday but like I said, I get very unsatisfactory responses.

Call ustravel docs and ask them?
is the person aged out? Or something. Or was there any issue in medical or ds260?

Doesn't calling ustraveldocs essentially mean the same as emailing them as they forward it to the embassy and ask us to wait for an email response?

No issue with the medical or the DS260. Both appear to have been correctly sent and submitted over to the Embassy.

Hopefully the person will get visa but it might take some more time.

Any one have idea when to go for corona test before flight 48 hours before or 72 hours on qatar airline

48 Hours.

We used shaukat khanum.  You will go two days before your flight when they open at 8:00 am.

The following day you will get your results in the evening few hours before your flight.

If it's a F3/F4 case, don't worry.

21 is not the cutoff age. It's normally 25/26  because of CPSA age.

Age gets frozen when the visa number becomes available. So no need to worry there.

So out of the passports we have received so far with issued visas, one of them has an expiry date of that applicant's 21st birthday in August. All of the other have an expiry date of six months from the medical date which is in November.

But there is also one derivative applicant in our case is above 21 so you are correct. However, this causes more stress on us as we have to travel before that one applicant's 21st birthday which is in August and we still HAVEN'T received that one passport CEAC shows Refused for.

Ah man, this has been a long and honestly frustrating journey that just doesn't end. 🙁

Be on safe side , get before 48 hours , ESSA Labs, if you are flying from Pakistan. Next day report is available so pick your report and head towards the airport.

Well, all of you will have to travel.  I would say travel as soon as possible.  You never know about Corona and when flights may get get canceled. Look at India.

I know on a personal level it's hard to leave 1 member of the family behind but you have to move and think rationally.  Please enter now and not wait till August etc.

You can do the same followup up for the last family member from US.

So my advise would be to travel ASAP

Also school for younger children open in August.  You will need time to settle in find a place etc.  Don't get hung up on the last passport.

Inshallah it will be forthcoming soon.

You're right! We'll have to plan and travel at our earliest. The world's as unprecedented as it can be right now.

Thank you for the advice.
