How much time does islamabad embassy is taking after remedical for visa issuance.

I wish we could predict that but there's no pattern. It's been more than 12 weeks for us now.

Few got it in 3 to 10 weeks.

It is so strange. The US Embassy issued my family visas last month but held off one of them.

That one applicant is of minor age and cannot be left alone, therefore we cannot travel without him.

Surely, if they hadn't issued the rest of us woulf have been better than whatever this they are doing.

The minor applicant status shows 'Refused' on CEAC and hasn't been updated in a month.

There is essentially nothing we can do too.

Everyone who got visa should enter and activate their visas.  One of the adults can come back.

There are many stories when people don't travel and lose their visas and it becomes a multi year struggle to renew it.

Send them an email, call them or contact a lawyer in US.

But if your visas expires there won't be anything you could do.  Border, rules, bans are all part of this process.

Be smart and rational.  It's a very Pakistani thing to say, " I won't go until everyone is able to go".   No one would care.  The best thing you can do for your minor child is to get the visa activated
