N-400 - Online Account number??

Hi,

Where I can find online USCIS online account number. I have never file online this will be the first time online filing? Do I have to provide online account number ? or I can say I don't have online USCIS account number?

If you never filed online before, then you do not have an online account.

Thank you for your reply. I have created my account but I don't know where to find my online account number. Do you know where did you find yours?

Login to your USCIS account.

Then, just under your name there is a link "View Profile", click on that.

On your profile page, under "Personal information" section,  you will see your "Online Account Number".

 

BUT, I think, the Online Account Number shows up only after you file an application online. Just creating an USCIS account may not give you an account number. Check it.

 

Anyway, I never needed the "Online Account Number" in the entire N400 process. What you need is the "Receipt Number" that is assigned to your case after you submit your N400.

 

After you file your N400 and get your Receipt Notice. The first two items on the notice would be the "Receipt Number" and "USCIS Online Account Number".

I don't see my name anywhere and no option for ''View Profile''..? is there anything I am missing ?

When I log in, where it says "Welcome To Your USCIS Account", it shows my name and the "View Profile" link under it.

 

Si, I guess you have to file an application to get an online account number.
