I have my interview in several days and my NAO2 letter, which arrived by post, is at my partner's home in the US. he is here with me in the UK.

We have read it says to bring proof of an approved i-129f, and as we don't have the actual NAO2 letter to bring, would it be sufficient to bring a letter from the NVC which says 'we have received your approved i-129f petition etc. This is an official letter with a barcode.

I just made a photocopy. Is someone able to do that for you?

No, the NAO2 document is in america at my partners home while he is here. meaning no one can get it or photocopy it. Would the NVC letter stating they have received my approved i-129f petition be enough?
