yes contact NVC and the consulate and keep following up! i would say on a weekly basis.

and thank you so much! :)

Hi @neeuq - When you say "contact," What method did you use? I am using the Contact NVC form here https://nvc.state.gov/inquiry, but to NO success! (They don't even reply apart from the automated reply!)

@andy@wpg - I am in the same boat, F2B dq'd on Sep 20, 2020 - With absolutely nothing from the MTL Consulate re my Visa Interview. Let's keep in touch!

As for contacting NVC, I tried to phone them but no one answered for over an hour. I know it’s useless to send emails to them but I did just send an email to NVC. Hopefully they can reply with more details. You’ve to use the public inquiry form in here to contact NVChttps://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

As the DQ to IL in Montreal, my PD is Jun. 16, 2015; DQed Aug. 28, 2020. I hope all F2B applicants can gather here to share their timeline and hopefully share some insights. Not sure what DQed date for F2B in Montreal is working on.

How many more years should I wait? Does anybody have any Idea? The petition is for an F2B visa. The priority date is March 16, 2020. It has been more than six years since the first date of application. NVC confirmed on June 2020 that the visa application is documentarily qualified, and it is in queue for an interview appointment with the consulate. I am not able to get any clear information on when it is going to happen. It looks like going to wait for more years. Does anyone from any part of the world has got an interview appointment after the rescinding of PP10014? I would be grateful if you can share your recent experience.

If your priority date is March 2020 how is it that you’ve been waiting for six years? The wait time starts from your priority date.

Priority Date for me if October 2014. I got an email from the embassy in July saying they're working to schedule my interview. They then emailed me again March 3rd to basically say the they're aware that my application is still awaiting an interview and they are still working to set my interview date (I'm assuming it was at this point the executive order preventing my interview date to being schedule got lifted). They said they'll contact me in 120 days if I still haven't gotten an interview date.

Still waiting for an interview date, lol.

Hi! Have you got an interview yet ?

So 90k visa was issued in Family preference category in 2020. That's roughly 90/226 = 0.4 = 40% visa issued.

So, 60% people or 60% of 12 months = 7.2 = 7 and half months of delay for everyone at least.

Then I looked at the visa numbers of last few months and they don't look so good either so far this year. So, everybody will be delayed by 1 year in their Priority Date waiting time + less visa may be issued to compensate for the immediate relatives backlog that needs to be cleared as they get priority first in embassy interview.

For F2B,  some countries are issuing visa but it's not that great.

For Dhaka embassy in Bangladesh, I don't see a single visa issuance in the last 4 months and probably nothing in the last year. Dhaka embassies issued 3000+ F4 visas in 2020 but can't be bothered to issue even 10 F2B this year? Makes no sense at all. They are not even clearing F2A either.

Thanks for such a detailed update

I just checked the Monthly Immigrant Visa Issuance Statistics, and unfortunately they did not process any F2B Visas in December 2021.

This is disheartening, but they did process a lot of F1, F3, F4s (13+) - SO, can we hold onto hope that they are staggering these "pushes" to have more interviews for these categories, and F2B will make a push in Jan-Mar 2022?

I sure hope this is the case!

Thanks @neeuq!

Sorry to keep asking questions, but what kind of evidence and statement/request did you make in your emails to justify expediting?

Priority Date seems to be stuck for the last 5 months or so. This is not a good sign. Moving slowly is one thing, but not moving at all is very concerning.

It’s a pity so when it’s starts moving do you think it will move very fast?
