By the way, the current PD (Priority Date) current situation is mainly focused on lobbying for H1B holders with pending Green Card applications.

Does anyone have data regarding F2B DQ waiting times for interviews? From that, we can estimate the number of applicants from 2016. I am assuming an average of 55k+ applicants from each year. It will take 2 years to clear the 2016 backlog.

Dominican Republic with 1.5 times the F2B waiting applicants than Phillipines doesn't have the quota yet. F2B won't be fixed with that.

Phillipines PD is in 22OCT11.

Interestingly, they are present in F1 and F2A categories as well. In June, they were allocated 1750 visas under the F2A category. Without a doubt, this trend is likely to lead to backlogs in these categories unless visa distribution returns to the pre-COVID system.

You know what's got me intrigued?

Figuring out how far along USCIS/NVC might be in clearing up the F2B visa backlog.

It's like a puzzle piece that could give us a hint about whether there's a chance for some progress in the near future.

It is likely to move in October

Thanks for mentioning the October possibility. It's interesting how the visa quota thing could be a factor. Last year didn't really show big changes, so who knows, this time might be different, all depends on the backlog size. Your input is cool – let's hope for better news soon!

We'll have a better idea once they publish the last few months visa issuance. Last month that was published was June.

Question here.

first:

how can I add my husband as a cosponsor on my children cases,

second:

apparently Nebraska has shorter times for I130 petitions, can I try to transfer my children cases, if so, how can I do that?

When did you petition?

I have yet to see there been an issue in getting an I 130 approved in time so even if it was possible to transfer the cases which it is not there would be no benefit.

Cosponsor comes up when you do the I 864s.

They will  let you know when to send in the I 864. Make sure you keep your contact details up to date if they change.
