Hello,

We received the interview appointment date today, 3/18/21, via email. The interview is in two weeks! Has anyone here did their medical at SLMC recently? How is the procedure with the pandemic? Is it still 2 days? TIA

Thank you all for your response. I've been trying to call SLEC yesterday to check if they accept walk ins but the phone numbers are not working. The earliest preferred date for registration online at SLEC is April 7 and my husband's interview is April 5. I hope they accept walk-ins 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻.

I had my medical a day after my interview. I called the Embassy and doctor's office to make sure I can do that, and they agreed. It wasn't a big deal.

Your profile indicates you did not interview in Manila.  Embassies have different requirements for the visa interview.  The US embassy in Manila typically will not interview an applicant if the medical has not been completed yet.

Well, it is a big deal in Manila.  No medical,  no interview

YMMV

Thank you @Chancy and @payxibka for clarifying this. I’m going to call SLEC again on Monday to make sure they accept walk-in. 😃
