Yes, read the guides, but I've found information from the Embassy's web site to be particularly helpful. You can get to Embassy's site from here. http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...e&cty=Paris Unfortunately, the French Embassy's web site seems a lot more disorganized than the one my fiancee is going through.

We're still waiting to hear back from the USCIS (over two months and not a thing back yet), but I'm already trying to get things sorted out for the interview. I would suggest your fiance finds out where the nearest approved doctor is and book the medical sooner rather than later. You also need police reports, which can take a while to process, birth certificate (I had to send off for copies for myself and my son), and if they were married before, evidence to show that the marriage is disolved (this is about the only thing we don't need as we have both always been single). You also need to provide the affidavit of support. There's a few other bits and pieces your fiance will need to bring, but you should wait and see what they require when the pack comes. I would defiantely suggest getting the medical and police records done as soon as possible though.

I know in the UK and Ireland that police records and medicals are good for one year. I hope that, because your fiance is in France, it should be pretty similar to us seens as we are all in the EU. Then again, who knows. I agree, check it out and if it's good for a year then get them done as soon as. Good luck!
