Filing tax after getting citizenship and name change

Hey guys so this is rather a unique situation.

I've gotten my citizenship back in January. I also changed my name. I tried calling SSA to set up an appointment because I don't want to mail my certificate...and they said it's not emergency/urgent so they wouldn't be able to set it up.

Now I have to file 2020 tax and what name should I use? and do I file as citizen or permanent resident?

I will wait until SSA open to update my information there so...any advice?

I’ve never had to identity my immigration status on a form 1040.

Anyway the irs says you have register your name change with ssa.

Hopefully you don’t owe the irs any money.  If not you you can wait up to three years to file if you are chasing a refund.
