I'm not buying the whole "lush" being an all over the UK thing, I'm gonna say the midlands down, it's not a term I was ever accustomed to hearing on the regular that's for sure 🤣

I'm glad everyone is doing well however and getting on with things as best as possible given our new covid lifestyles 🤗

Well yeah, probably not up north...you guys just speak in grunts though, right? 😆🙈

That's absolutely classic!

I've been asked a few times on the phone what language I speak, which always makes me chuckle.

English. I'm from England. 🙈

Whoever I'm speaking to generally starts laughing at that point 😆.

Sorry, if you don't sound like an American TV/movie Brit (which I understand is pretty much upper-class London, though wasn't too far off from typical Londoners based on a week there as a tourist in 2016 ...) then we're not sure if you're really from England 🤣

I don't sound exactly sound like that (definitely not a London/Southern accent anyway) - but I'm from the East Midlands, so my accent is very subtle compared to many other regional ones...and I'm generally quite 'well-spoken', so not dissimilar to the 'TV Brit' voice. It only seems to be over the phone where I confuse people - and I'm not especially loud normally, so maybe that's contributing 🙈.

Sounds like we talk the same.
