Hello everyone, we have filed our AOS application in September 2020 and in March 21 we have received the EAD card but have not received yet any SSN.

I believe the new I-485 application form has a section which we have filled as well for SSN. So i believe we don't have to do anything now instead of just waiting??

or we need to apply for SSN separately??? anyone can help on it please???

March 21st? Do you mean February? Unless you're a time traveler, of course. You could've apply for the SSN on the I-765, but apparently they're not always good about following up on it. You wouldn't receive the SSN from the same envelope as the EAD since it's a different agency. You can try calling the SSA and see if there's anything pending. If it didn't go through, you can try getting an in-person appointment to apply for an SSN at a local SSA office if you've never had one before, my wife had luck getting an appointment on her K1 a few months ago. Otherwise you'd have to mail your EAD in.

@JacobPhahaha no i mean to say March 2021. Thank you very much for your reply. i have checked on USCIS website they mentioned need to wait 1 -2 weeks for the SSN after the EAD card issued and I am just on 5 days week now. so hopefully something will come in a week or so.
